Welcome to Foreign Language Center

The Foreign Language Center is for you. You haven not had a foreign language and you may not be interested in languages at all. But you are curious about other cultures. We want to help you satisfy this curiosity. First, we want you to think about your own language, English, how diverse and multi layered it is. Take our survey, explore the answers given by your peers and compare them to your own. Then work your way through our topics list which will hopefully be fun and give you many new insights (we will supply a study guide for each step that you take). Our hope, of course, is, that on the way to understanding your own culture and language better, you might want to learn more about other languages/ cultures.
